Terms of Service

Twilight Express Co. operates a freight brokerage technology platform — a marketplace where shippers post loads or request an Instant Quote, and FMCSA-verified carriers browse and book them. We are not a common or contract carrier: we don't own trucks, employ drivers, or physically move freight ourselves. Carriers using the platform are independent businesses responsible for their own FMCSA operating authority, insurance, and equipment.

• You must provide accurate information when registering, and keep it current.
• Carriers self-report MC/DOT numbers; we verify them against FMCSA's public registry and display the result — verification can be re-run at any time from the Company tab.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• Certain actions (booking a load, booking a truck, deleting your account) require completing identity verification through Stripe Identity first.

• Instant Quote booking fee — shown as its own line item (base + fuel + tolls + our margin) before checkout, and capped between 5% and 25% of the quoted rate.
• Booking fee on carrier-sourced bookings — the platform's cut of the agreed rate, charged to the carrier when they book a load, at a percentage they can see before booking.
• Carrier Pro ($49/mo) and Enterprise ($199/mo) subscriptions — optional, billed and managed through Stripe; you can cancel or switch plans any time from your billing portal (Profile → Company → Manage subscription).
• All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card or bank details.
• Fees already charged for a completed booking are generally non-refundable, since they reflect a service already performed (sourcing, matching, and facilitating the booking). Contact us through the in-app support inbox if something went wrong with a specific charge.

• Post accurate load and truck listings — no fictitious freight or capacity.
• Honor bookings you accept; use Control Tower to update status and communicate delays.
• Don't attempt to circumvent FMCSA or identity verification requirements.
• Don't use the platform for anything illegal, or to move prohibited freight.

You can delete your own account and personal/company information at any time from the Company tab, once identity verification is complete. Already-archived bookings retain a snapshot of your info as it existed at deletion time — deleting your account doesn't erase another party's record of a completed shipment.

The platform is provided "as is." We facilitate connections between shippers and carriers but aren't a party to the actual transportation of goods, and don't guarantee the accuracy of any listing, quote, or ETA. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Twilight Express Co. isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, or from the acts or omissions of a shipper or carrier using it.

If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
